We’ve just seen the first spy shots of the new 2016 Fiat 500. The new hatchback is said to be getting a light refresh for its newest model year and by these photos, we can already see some of the new changes.
The biggest changes to the 2016 500 will most likely be styling updates, especially on the car’s front and end bumpers. The spy shots have both ends covered so it’s hard to tell, but it looks like the hatchback’s tail- and headlamps are getting an update, as are the car’s foglights that should be larger and thicker than previous incarnations.
According to Autoguide, the shots don’t show very many changes to the car’s interior, which looks to be carrying over from 2015. However, that doesn’t mean that the interior won’t see a few updates, since the refresh process is still in its early stages. There’s no word yet on when we’ll see the new 2016 Fiat 500 make its way to Alfa Rome & Fiat of Scottsdale. Reports suggest that the new hatchback should show up stateside sometime in late 2015 or early 2016.
We’ll keep you updated on all the changes coming to the 2016 500. In the meantime, check out our full selection of the 2015 Fiat 500.
