Alfa Romeo’s newest powerhouse is set to take on the old guard in a big way. The 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia is the Italian automaker’s latest release and automotive insiders are already calling it a game changer.

The new Giulia made its world debut in Milan, Italy last month. Early details about the car suggest that it will be offered with a turbocharged V6 engine that should generate over 500 horsepower. The car should also sport a six-speed manual transmission, a carbon fiber hood, active aerodynamics and a rear-wheel-drive system. The sedan will also boast narrow headlights, a rear diffuser and large air inlets. Inside the cabin, reports say the car will have integrated controls, as well as a more ergonomic design.

All this high-powered luxury showcases the automaker’s desire to take on premium brands, such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz. FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne even stated that he was ready for the new Alfa Romeo to “play with the big boys” in the premium luxury segment.

The all-new 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia should arrive in Scottsdale sometime next year. For more information about this new luxury sedan near Phoenix, as well as the other new Alfa Romeo cars coming to Alfa Romeo & Fiat of Scottsdale, contact us today!
