The newest installation in the Star Wars film series is due to come out this month, meaning that several companies are getting in on the promotional action for the film. One of these companies is Fiat, who has created a special edition of their 500e hatchback: the Fiat 500e Stormtrooper.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is the seventh installation of the iconic series and takes place at least 30 years after the original films ended. One of the main characters in the film starts off as a member of the Stormtroopers (the faceless army loyal to the Empire), but swiftly moves over to the side of good. Fiat’s new 500e Stormtrooper celebrates this character – and the classic bumbling army – with a fully restyled version of the car.
The new Fiat gets a fun new exterior that features two-tone black and white custom paint, as well as a specially wrapped windshield and side mirrors that show off the iconic Stormtrooper helmet. The car’s interior also gets white and black leather Alcantara upholstery, custom front and rear seats, the “Star Wars” logo on the dashboard and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The all-new Fiat 500e Stormtrooper will be on display in select cities before the film’s release.
