Specs at a Glance

The 2023 FIAT 500X's authentic Italian styling and high-quality interior continue to set it apart from the competition. Impressive performance capabilities make this compact crossover even more rewarding to drive. There are now two well-equipped trim levels for you to choose from. Here's a quick breakdown of how the 500X Pop compares to the 500X Sport.

Performance

These trims offer the same fun driving experience. The 500X is motivated by one of the strongest standard powertrains in the segment. FIAT's 1.3L MultiAir Turbo engine cranks out a class-leading 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. An advanced nine-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth power delivery.

In contrast to most of the competition, the new 500X comes standard with all-wheel drive. A Dynamic Selector Traction Control System enables you to pick from three driving modes. While the Sport mode gives you maximum control on twisty roads, activating the Traction mode optimizes grip on slippery surfaces. Meanwhile, the Normal mode is perfect for daily commuting.

Appearance

No other model in the class looks like the 2023 FIAT 500X. Its eye-catching exterior design causes people to take notice. Body-color bumpers and LED daytime running lights come standard on the Pop trim. Several cool paint colors are available. When checking out the Sport trim, you'll notice its racier appearance. Unique front and rear fascia designs help it to stand out. Available 19-inch alloy wheels also give the 500X Sport an especially bold stance.

Features

The base Pop trim comes loaded with many of today's hottest features. Its standard Uconnect 4 infotainment system features a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Voice Command technology. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto enable you to link your smartphone to the interface. In-demand safety features, such as Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, make the Pop trim an even stronger value.

FIAT designed the Sport trim's cabin to appeal to driving enthusiasts. It features a flat-bottom performance steering wheel with shift paddles and sports seats. Parking sensors give you greater security in crowded spaces. The 500X Sport also brings upgraded creature comforts, including automatic climate control and an eight-way power driver's seat. A powerful Beats premium audio system and additional safety technologies are on the Sport trim's list of options.
