FIAT Vehicle Service Warning Indicators
If you’re not sure what all of the different dashboard indicator lights are for your Fiat, we’re going to talk about the 10 most common service lights that you’ll see as a Fiat owner. The next time one of these lights comes on, you’ll know what you should do to make it right.

Airbag Fault
Your airbag light will come on with your engine, but it should go off right after that. If it doesn’t, your airbag system could have issues that are compromising the level of safety that you experience.

Low Fuel Level Warning Light
When only a few gallons of fuel is left in your tank, you’ll receive a notification that alerts you it’s time to head to the gas station.

Oil Pressure Warning Light
Your vehicle may not have enough oil in it because of a leak or typical use. Pull over to see what the actual level of oil is in your engine. If it’s right where it should be, it’s time for an appointment to check your engine and computer.

Service Vehicle Soon
This indicator light isn’t telling you that something is wrong. This is the perfect time to make an appointment for the routine service and maintenance that your Fiat requires in order to function properly.

TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
There is a recommended air pressure level that your specific vehicle and set of tires require. When this level strays from where it should be, your car’s computer will let you know it’s time to pull over and check the issue out. Don’t overfill your tires. This could lead to a blowout. If the light doesn’t go off after a few miles of driving, have your TPMS checked.

Slip Indicator
Your Traction Control system and Vehicle Stability Control system will kick in when your vehicle starts to lose control of itself. The indicator light should go back off when your vehicle regains traction. If it doesn’t, this could be an indication of a more major problem.

Charging System Warning Light
Wiring can experience damage. When your charging system warning light comes on, have your vehicle inspected immediately.

Brake System
Your antilock braking system will produce an indicator light if your brakes aren’t working as intended. You will be able to maintain control of your vehicle, but don’t let this issue go undiagnosed.

Open Door Warning Light
As soon as you start up your vehicle, you’ll see a dashboard light come on if you didn’t close your doors or trunk fully. Take a quick walk around the vehicle to make sure everything is good to go.

Coolant Level Warning
Don’t continue driving your vehicle if it is overheating. If your coolant level is too low or something else is going on, your dashboard will light up. Seek help right away.
