Tires that are older than six years old also need to be replaced immediately to improve traction under the vehicle, especially on wet surfaces. Using a penny, check your tread. If you can see Abraham Lincoln's head, the tread is too thin.

The automaker is responsible for paying for the recall because the defects commonly occur during the manufacturing process. If the driver waits too long to bring the vehicle in to be repaired then they may be responsible for paying for the service out of pocket
